Editorial policy
Records
- Scores, scorers and minutes come from official J.League and JFA records; other competitions come from match reports on English Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0).
- Matches are imported automatically every week up to the latest round. The home page shows when the archive was last updated.
- Inconsistencies (duplicate players, wrong match dates and so on) are fixed through correction tables as soon as they are found, so the same error does not come back.
Video
- We only use videos from official YouTube channels of leagues, associations, clubs and broadcasters, shown through YouTube’s official embed. Golmento never stores video or still images.
- If an official clip of the goal itself exists we show it; otherwise we show the official match highlights, and each page says which one it is.
- Videos that can no longer be embedded are detected automatically every week and removed from the page.
Texts
- The context paragraph on each goal page is drafted with AI using only facts from the official record (score timeline, minute, scorer, venue). Nothing outside the record (shot type, emotions, table implications) is added.
- Before publishing, minutes, scores and names are checked automatically against the record; texts that do not match are not published.
- Every week a person on our team reviews a sample of 10 pages, checking that the video shows the right goal and that the record and text are correct (since October 2026). Errors found are fixed across all pages of the same type.
