14' Taiga Ishiura (FC Ryukyu) 1-0
The match was still goalless when Taiga Ishiura scored in the 14th minute. It was the opening goal of the afternoon and the start of a lead that FC Ryukyu, at home, would never give up on the way to a 5-2 win. Ishiura's strike came in the first half at the Okinawa Prefectural Athletic Stadium, where kick-off was at 16:03.
55' Junya Suzuki (FC Ryukyu) 2-0
FC Ryukyu had gone into the interval with only Ishiura's goal to show for the first half. Ten minutes after the restart, in the 55th minute, Junya Suzuki made it 2-0 and gave the hosts a two-goal cushion for the first time. For Gainare Tottori, the gap to close had just doubled.
63' Kazuki Soda (FC Ryukyu) 3-0
Eight minutes after Suzuki's goal, in the 63rd minute, Kazuki Soda made it 3-0. Each of FC Ryukyu's goals to that point had come from a different scorer, the margin growing without relying on any single player. Gainare Tottori were now three behind with less than half an hour left.
65' Tsuguaki Ihori (FC Ryukyu) 4-0
Barely two minutes after going 3-0 up, FC Ryukyu scored again through Tsuguaki Ihori in the 65th minute. Goals in the 55th, 63rd and 65th minutes meant three in the space of ten, and the match had been stretched open in a short burst. Gainare Tottori were still without a goal at that stage.
75' Ibuki Yoshida (Gainare Tottori) 4-1
Having conceded four, Gainare Tottori finally got on the scoreboard in the 75th minute through Ibuki Yoshida. It was the away side's first goal of the match and made it 4-1. The deficit was still three with around fifteen minutes to play.
77' Yuma Funabashi (FC Ryukyu) 5-1
Two minutes after Tottori had pulled one back, Yuma Funabashi scored in the 77th to make it 5-1. The margin was restored to four almost immediately, and the visitors' response went no further for the time being. Funabashi became FC Ryukyu's fifth different scorer of the match.
88' Soki Honbo (Gainare Tottori) 5-2
Late on, in the 88th minute, Soki Honbo scored Gainare Tottori's second to make it 5-2. That proved to be the final goal of the match, and the scoreline stayed as it was. Tottori had answered twice, in the 75th and 88th minutes, but the lead FC Ryukyu established in the 14th was never in danger of going.
