The match, goal by goal
2 of the 3 goals came after half-time. 2 goals in second-half stoppage time.
14' Serhou Guirassy (VfB Stuttgart) 0-1
SV Darmstadt 98 hosted VfB Stuttgart in Matchday 22 of the Bundesliga on February 17, 2024. Serhou Guirassy opened the scoring for the visitors in the 14th minute to make it 0-1. Stuttgart never surrendered the lead they took early in the first half.
90'+2 Mahmoud Dahoud (VfB Stuttgart) 0-2
With the score still 0-1 heading into stoppage time, Mahmoud Dahoud added a second for VfB Stuttgart in the 90+2nd minute to make it 0-2. Because SV Darmstadt 98 pulled one back afterward, Dahoud's goal proved to be an important cushion in Stuttgart's away win.
90'+5 Aaron Seydel (SV Darmstadt 98) 1-2
Deep into stoppage time, Aaron Seydel finally got SV Darmstadt 98 on the scoreboard in the 90+5th minute, cutting the deficit to 1-2. The home side had fallen two goals behind only minutes earlier, and Seydel's goal was not enough to rescue a point as the match finished 1-2.
