The match, goal by goal
2 of the 6 goals came after half-time.
12' Omar Marmoush (Eintracht Frankfurt) 1-0
Eintracht Frankfurt hosted Bayern Munich at Deutsche Bank Park on Matchday 14, and Omar Marmoush opened the scoring in the 12th minute to make it 1-0. Frankfurt never surrendered the lead from that point on. It was the first step toward a 5-1 home win.
31' Junior Dina Ebimbe (Eintracht Frankfurt) 2-0
Holding a one-goal lead, Frankfurt doubled their advantage in the 31st minute through Junior Dina Ebimbe, making it 2-0. Another goal would follow just five minutes later, so this strike set off a quick first-half burst. Dina Ebimbe would also score again after the break.
36' Hugo Larsson (Eintracht Frankfurt) 3-0
Only five minutes after Dina Ebimbe's goal, Hugo Larsson added a third in the 36th minute. At 3-0, Frankfurt had opened a three-goal gap over Bayern Munich before half-time. The goals in quick succession left the home side firmly in control.
44' Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich) 3-1
Three goals down, Bayern Munich pulled one back just before half-time when Joshua Kimmich scored in the 44th minute. That made it 3-1 and sent the visitors into the break trailing by two. It would prove to be Bayern Munich's only goal of the match.
50' Junior Dina Ebimbe (Eintracht Frankfurt) 4-1
Early in the second half, Junior Dina Ebimbe struck again in the 50th minute for his second goal of the match. Having conceded just before the interval, Frankfurt restored their three-goal cushion at 4-1. The goal checked any momentum Bayern Munich had gained from their late first-half reply.
60' Ansgar Knauff (Eintracht Frankfurt) 5-1
Ansgar Knauff made it 5-1 in the 60th minute with Frankfurt's fifth goal. No further goals followed, and that remained the final score. Frankfurt completed a four-goal home win over Bayern Munich.
