38' Harry Kane opens the scoring for Bayern Munich (the winner) → 78' Thomas Müller extends Bayern Munich's lead. Full time: 2-0, Bayern Munich win.
The match, goal by goal
1 of the 2 goals came after half-time.
38' Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) 1-0
Bayern Munich hosted SC Freiburg at the Allianz Arena on 1 September 2024, in the second round of the Bundesliga, and the match was still goalless in the 38th minute. Harry Kane then put the home side 1-0 up. Bayern never relinquished that lead on the way to a 2-0 win, so Kane's first-half opener proved to be the winning goal.
78' Thomas Müller (Bayern Munich) 2-0
Bayern Munich went into the second half holding a one-goal lead, and in the 78th minute Thomas Müller added a second. That made it 2-0 and doubled the home side's advantage. Neither team scored again, so 2-0 stood as the final score against SC Freiburg.
