9' Patrik Schick (Bayer Leverkusen) 0-1
Bayer Leverkusen struck early on their visit to the Holstein-Stadion, with Patrik Schick opening the scoring in the 9th minute. 45' Amine Adli (Bayer Leverkusen) 0-2
Amine Adli doubled Bayer Leverkusen's advantage in the 45th minute, making it 0-2 right before the interval. Coming after Schick's early opener, the goal sent the away side into half-time with a two-goal cushion. Neither team scored after the break, so Adli's goal completed the final scoreline.
