The match, goal by goal
1 of the 3 goals came after half-time.
2' Anthony Gordon (FC Barcelona) 1-0
FC Barcelona went ahead in the second minute, Anthony Gordon breaking the deadlock almost straight from kick-off. The LaLiga matchday 8 meeting with Getafe CF at Camp Nou was 1-0 before it had properly settled. Barcelona never surrendered that advantage on the way to a 3-0 win, which made this the decisive goal.
30' Gabriel Jesus (FC Barcelona) 2-0
On the half hour, Gabriel Jesus doubled the lead for 2-0. Getafe CF had been unable to respond in the 28 minutes since the opener, and the second goal pushed the margin further out of reach. Barcelona had built that cushion before the interval and took it into the break.
73' Jules Koundé (FC Barcelona) 3-0
The third goal arrived in the 73rd minute through Jules Koundé, taking the score from 2-0 to 3-0. He was the third different scorer of the afternoon for FC Barcelona. Getafe CF did not reply in the time that remained, and the 59,463 at Camp Nou saw the match end on that scoreline.
