29' Zito Luvumbo (Cagliari) 1-0
Cagliari struck first at the Unipol Domus in this Serie A Matchday 6 meeting with AC Milan, as Zito Luvumbo put the hosts 1-0 up in the 29th minute. It was the opening goal of the night and gave the home side the early advantage. That lead would not survive the first half, however, and Cagliari went on to lose 1-3 after being overturned.
40' Noah Okafor (AC Milan) 1-1
Trailing on the road, AC Milan drew level in the 40th minute through Noah Okafor, making it 1-1. The equalizer came 11 minutes after Cagliari's opener and wiped out the home side's advantage. It also set in motion a turnaround that Milan would complete before half-time.
45' Fikayo Tomori (AC Milan) 1-2
Only five minutes after the equalizer, Fikayo Tomori scored in the 45th minute to put AC Milan 1-2 ahead. The visitors, who had fallen behind, had turned the game around within the first half. Milan never relinquished the lead from there, making Tomori's goal the winner.
60' Ruben Loftus-Cheek (AC Milan) 1-3
In the 60th minute, Ruben Loftus-Cheek added AC Milan's third to make it 1-3. Having already turned the match around before the break, Milan now held a two-goal cushion. The score stood until the end, sealing a come-from-behind away win for the visitors.
