5' Own goal (Lazio) 1-0
Lazio's home meeting with Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico took shape after just five minutes, when an own goal put the hosts 1-0 up. It was an early lead for Lazio and the first of five goals on the afternoon.
11' Taty Castellanos (Lazio) 2-0
Only six minutes after the opener, Taty Castellanos doubled Lazio's advantage in the 11th minute to make it 2-0. Two goals inside the opening stretch gave the home side firm control of the match, though it was a lead they would not be able to hold.
33' Éderson (Atalanta) 2-1
Trailing by two, Atalanta pulled one back in the 33rd minute through Éderson, cutting the deficit to 2-1. The first-half goal gave the visitors a foothold in the match and set up the equaliser that would follow after the break.
63' Sead Kolašinac (Atalanta) 2-2
In the 63rd minute Sead Kolašinac brought Atalanta level at 2-2. Having once trailed by two, the visitors had now wiped out the deficit entirely, and Lazio's early advantage was gone.
83' Matías Vecino (Lazio) 3-2
With the score level at 2-2, Matías Vecino restored Lazio's lead in the 83rd minute to make it 3-2. Coming after the hosts had seen a two-goal advantage disappear, it proved to be the winner, securing victory at the Stadio Olimpico.
