71' Matteo Prati (Cagliari) 0-1
Sassuolo and Cagliari were still level at 0-0 well into the second half of their Serie A Matchday 37 meeting on May 19, 2024. Matteo Prati broke the deadlock in the 71st minute to put the visitors 0-1 up. Cagliari never let that lead slip, so Prati's strike stood as the winning goal.
90'+1 Gianluca Lapadula (Cagliari) 0-2
Cagliari carried their one-goal lead into stoppage time, and in the 90+1st minute Gianluca Lapadula doubled it. The insurance goal made it 0-2 and left Sassuolo almost no time to respond at home. Cagliari completed the away win without conceding.
