28' Mattia Zaccagni (Lazio) 0-1
Away at San Siro on Matchday 27 of Serie A, Lazio broke the deadlock in the 28th minute through Mattia Zaccagni. His goal made it 0-1 and left AC Milan chasing the game before half-time. That first-half lead would shape the rest of the afternoon.
84' Samuel Chukwueze (AC Milan) 1-1
Trailing 0-1 deep into the second half, AC Milan drew level at home in the 84th minute through Samuel Chukwueze. The equalizer erased the lead Lazio had held since the 28th minute and made it 1-1 with little time remaining. It was not, however, the final word on the match.
90'+8 Pedro (Lazio) 1-2
Pegged back in the 84th minute, Lazio went ahead again in stoppage time when Pedro scored in the 90+8th minute. The goal made it 1-2 and stood as the winner. Having opened the scoring and then conceded an equalizer, the visitors left San Siro with the victory.
