The match, goal by goal
3 of the 4 goals came after half-time.
45'+2 Yann Aurel Bisseck (Inter) 1-0
With the first half heading toward a goalless finish, Yann Aurel Bisseck broke the deadlock for Inter in the 45+2nd minute. The opener came in first-half stoppage time and sent the home side into the break 1-0 up. It was the first of four goals in a match that would swing back and forth after the interval.
72' Pedro (Lazio) 1-1
Lazio drew level in the 72nd minute through Pedro, making it 1-1 at San Siro. Having conceded just before half-time, the visitors found their response midway through the second half. The goal reset the contest with the final stretch still to play.
79' Denzel Dumfries (Inter) 2-1
Seven minutes after being pegged back, Inter regained the lead in the 79th minute through Denzel Dumfries. The goal made it 2-1 and appeared to put the home side on course for victory. That advantage would not hold to the end, however, and it did not prove to be the winner.
90' Pedro (Lazio) 2-2
Trailing 2-1 in the 90th minute, Lazio equalized again as Pedro scored his second goal of the match. The game finished 2-2. Inter had led twice, and on both occasions it was Pedro who brought the visitors back level.
