The match, goal by goal
3 of the 4 goals came after half-time. The lead changed hands 1 time. 1 goal in second-half stoppage time.
19' Federico Gatti (Juventus) 1-0
Juventus took the lead at home in the 19th minute through Federico Gatti, making it 1-0. The first-half opener gave the hosts the upper hand, and they held that advantage until the 61st minute. The match, however, would eventually finish 2-2.
61' Mikael Egill Ellertsson (Venezia) 1-1
Trailing since the 19th minute, Venezia drew level in the 61st minute when Mikael Egill Ellertsson scored to make it 1-1. The visitors wiped out the Juventus lead early in the second half and reset the contest. Ellertsson's equalizer set the stage for the turnaround that followed.
83' Jay Idzes (Venezia) 1-2
In the 83rd minute, Jay Idzes put Venezia in front at 1-2, completing the turnaround for the visitors after they had trailed 1-0. It was a late go-ahead goal on the road. The lead, however, would not survive stoppage time, so Idzes's strike did not prove to be the winner.
90'+5 Dušan Vlahović (Juventus) 2-2
Trailing 1-2, Juventus found an equalizer in stoppage time when Dušan Vlahović scored in the 90+5th minute to make it 2-2. Having opened the scoring and then fallen behind, the hosts avoided defeat at the very end. For Venezia, it meant a lead built through a comeback slipped away at the last moment.
