12' Nikola Krstović (Atalanta) 0-1
Atalanta struck first on the road at the Stadio Olimpico, with Nikola Krstović opening the scoring in the 12th minute to make it 0-1. The early goal gave the visitors control of the first half. The lead did not survive the break, however, as AS Roma drew level before half-time and the match finished 1-1.
45' Mario Hermoso (AS Roma) 1-1
Trailing 0-1 since the 12th minute, AS Roma found their equalizer in the 45th through Mario Hermoso to make it 1-1. The goal sent the home side into half-time back on level terms. Neither team scored after the break, so Hermoso's strike proved enough to earn Roma a share of the points.
