4' Dennis Johnsen (Cremonese) 1-0
Cremonese made a fast start at home in this Serie A Matchday 19 fixture, with Dennis Johnsen putting them ahead in the 4th minute. The early 1-0 lead shaped the opening half in the hosts' favor. Cagliari, however, would eventually fight back, and the match finished 2-2.
29' Jamie Vardy (Cremonese) 2-0
Jamie Vardy doubled Cremonese's advantage in the 29th minute, making it 2-0 before half-time. A two-goal cushion at home looked to put the hosts firmly in control. It proved insufficient, as Cagliari scored twice after the break to earn a 2-2 draw.
51' Michel Ndary Adopo (Cagliari) 2-1
Trailing by two, Cagliari pulled one back early in the second half when Michel Ndary Adopo scored in the 51st minute. The goal cut the deficit to 2-1 and marked the start of the visitors' comeback. It set the stage for the equalizer that would arrive late in the match.
88' Yael Trepy (Cagliari) 2-2
In the 88th minute, Yael Trepy struck to level the score at 2-2 for Cagliari. Having been 2-0 down in the first half, the visitors had now erased the entire deficit with two second-half goals. For Cremonese, it meant a two-goal home lead slipping away and the points being shared.
