The match, goal by goal
2 of the 3 goals came after half-time.
7' Alisson Santos (Napoli) 1-0
Napoli needed only seven minutes to break the deadlock against Torino at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Alisson Santos made it 1-0, giving the home side an early lead in the first half. It was an advantage Napoli would hold for the rest of the match.
68' Eljif Elmas (Napoli) 2-0
With the score still 1-0 deep into the second half, Eljif Elmas doubled Napoli's lead in the 68th minute. His goal made it 2-0 and gave the hosts a two-goal cushion. After Torino pulled one back late on, Elmas's strike proved to be the winner.
87' Cesare Casadei (Torino) 2-1
Trailing by two on the road, Torino finally found a response in the 87th minute through Cesare Casadei, cutting the deficit to 2-1. It came too late to change the outcome, however, and the visitors could not find an equalizer. The match ended 2-1, with Napoli taking the win at home.
