Trailing since the 44th minute, Shabab Al Ahli found an equalizer in the first minute of stoppage time. The goal in the 90+1st minute made it 1-1 and wiped out the lead Al Gharafa SC had carried since just before half-time. It proved to be the final goal of the match, and the visitors left with a draw.
