Ulsan HD FC broke the deadlock in first-half stoppage time, scoring in the 45+2nd minute to go 1-0 up at home. Coming just before the break, the goal sent Ulsan into half-time with the lead instead of a scoreless draw. There was no further scoring after the interval, and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors never found an equalizer, so that single strike stood as the winner.
