Just six minutes after the equalizer, Daichi Kamada put Eintracht Frankfurt in front with a 52nd-minute goal that made it 2-1. Two goals in quick succession early in the second half had turned the match around, and Frankfurt held on to the lead from there. Kamada's strike proved to be the winner in a come-from-behind victory at home.
