The final matchday of the Bundesliga season took VfL Bochum to the Millerntor-Stadion, and the visitors needed only 10 minutes to break the deadlock. Myron Boadu put Bochum 0-1 up against FC St. Pauli in the first half. Bochum never relinquished that lead, so Boadu's early strike ultimately stood as the winning goal.
