With the score still 1-0 in the second half, Tommaso Pobega doubled AC Milan's lead in the 77th minute to make it 2-0. With little time remaining, the goal appeared to put the home side firmly on course for victory. AS Roma, however, went on to score twice, and Pobega's strike did not prove to be the winner.
