45'+7
AC Monza hosted Genoa at the Stadio Brianteo on matchday 2, and the game was still goalless as it ran into first-half stoppage time. In the 45+7th minute, Andrea Pinamonti put Genoa in front, sending the visitors into the break 0-1 up. Neither side scored after the interval, so Pinamonti's strike proved to be the winner and the only goal of the match, giving Genoa an away victory.
