Genoa finally got on the scoresheet in the 87th minute, with Jeff Ekhator pulling one back for the visitors. His goal made it 3-1, but there was too little time left to overturn the three-goal deficit from the first half. The match ended 3-1, and Ekhator's strike stood as Genoa's only goal.
