Seven minutes after Juventus had levelled, Kieron Bowie restored Sassuolo's advantage in the 89th minute, making it 2-1. Coming just before the 90-minute mark, the goal looked as though it might settle the contest for the home side. The lead, however, would not survive into the closing moments of stoppage time.
